Roles and Responsibilities

Development:
  1. To follow the registration trials in coordination with Research Institutes and TPRI to ensure they are done accordingly to the protocols and registration requirements
  2. Keep relationship with TPRI for all registration issues and other tasks as requested by the Development Manager from time to time (import permits, renewal of registration, etc.)
  3. Contribute to the registration process, from the dossier to the final registration
  4. Contribute to portfolio development plant by identifying and suggesting new market opportunities


Technical Support:

  1. Coordinate demonstration / commercial trials done by Sales team within Tanzania (protocols, implementation, data collection and presentation), especially (but not limited to) for product launch
  2. Provide technical support to the Sales team and to Customers
  3. Contribute to technical and market positioning of the products
  4. Contribute to marketing materials production (brochure, PPT, etc.)
  5. Assist the sales team for customer complain management (restricted to the technical field)
  6. Demand creation to some key end users (especially in horticulture, large scale farms, etc.)


Educational Qualifications

  1. BSc in Agriculture (specialization in crop protection if possible / other field in agriculture are also okay provided professional experience in PP)
  2. Minimum 3 to 5 year experience in crop protection
  3. Good in both English and Swahili
  4. Clean driving license required

  3. Good understanding of the regulatory environment in Tanzania / basic knowledge of regulatory environment in Europe (export crops)
